Plum Cove

Rockport

Plum Cove is a nice dive spot on Cape Ann, MA. Divers can explore each rocky side of the cove, both with plenty of life to see. The cove is fairly small so it would be easy to get to do each side of the cove if desired. Once parked, divers make their way through the sandy beach towards to enter the dive site.

The downside of this beach is that Plum Cove isn't just a great spot for divers, it's a residential beach so parking is a nightmare during the summer in which all the parking becomes resident only parking 6:00AM through 6:00PM. Divers can still hit a great dusk to night dive during peak hours so don't fully shy away from this spot. We saw skate, horseshoe crabs, nudibranch (early season, lobsters, rock gunnel, moonsnails, flounder, and some fish variations

There is zero shellfishing allowed at this spot, with a $400 fine if ignored.
